Sound Design Portfolio
An excerpt from a college sound design project, I was tasked to redo the sound design for a scene from a film or Tv show of my choice, I selected the show Daredevil, this piece of work showcases accurate time synching of sfx, the use of automation on volume/panning and the use of ambient layering to create room sound and fx.
All audio in this clip is completely original synthesised sounds created through digital instruments using Ableton which have all been accurately time synched to the excerpt of gameplay seen above.
This is an example of sound design for a short animation, it shows good creative use of sound when it comes to the blending and transition between separate scenes in the clip (The blending of train ambience with sea waves.) Displays good examples of sound synch also the use of automation on volume throughout the clip.
These two short Ident clips are examples of sound design for short intros to various media channels or short adverts for businesses or charity organisation’s.
